There's a certain kind of white shorthair cat that runs to fat. My parents used to have one and he was called Fredly. But he was also known as Big White Buffalo. He was fat. I just saw a video of someone vacuuming their cat that looked just like him.
Anyway, I've been thinking about cats. Fred got skinny because he got Feline HIV. Then he died. My cat Raisin died about 10 days ago. I think she had the kidney failure from the tainted food. She used to be a big fat cat and she got slim...and we thought it was good, because we were giving her new "clean" food and I thought her body was finally regulating its weight. Then she got skinny. Then she got bony. And vomited all the time. And that's about the time I started taking her to the vet. But it was too late. So now I have no cats. It's really weird. And the funny thing about Raisin dead (not "ha ha " funny, but, like, queer [not "gay" queer]) is that it's true what they say about closure. I was and am sad about Raisin, but I got to see her body and say goodbye. And we buried her. With Miller, I'm still bereft because I have no idea what happened to her. I'm sure she's dead too, but I wish I knew, so I wouldn't always dream about her coming back.
Anway, that's enough sad for this post.
