I recently remembered a blog I used to read: Evany!
I haven't read it for awhile, not since I came to my new town. So, I'm sitting, making my way through the archives, going back to the last entry I read, (she was on a reading tour for her book) I start moving forward in time. One entry prompted me to consider emailing her (I did once before, with a snarky comment I thought was funny -- I don't know that she agreed). It was about how hard it is to cut angel food cake, which is true, and why back in ye olden tymes, they had a thing called a cake breaker that I think might work for that kind of cake. But now, I'm looking at photos, (was going to post one) and all the images of the cake breaker boxes have sort of "regular" cakes on them, not angel food cakes. So maybe that kind won't work either, and good thing I didn't email her about it.
ANYWAY, the important thing about this is my luck. Because Evany made a promise in the middle of September to post daily for the rest of the year! So, I have all this extra Evany to read, and that is super fun.
